CLOCS invites construction clients to safety seminar

27th November 2020

CLOCS (Construction Logistics & Community Safety) has put out a call to public bodies interested in reducing road accidents resulting from construction traffic journeys into and out of sites:

Construction clients are critical to accelerate adoption and implementation of the national CLOCS Standard. The Construction Minister gave his personal backing and that of BEIS, joining DFT and a number of metro mayors and major UK city CEOs in backing CLOCS. Working together across the UK to drive awareness and adoption of the national CLOCS Standard to prevent continuation of the 5,500 fatal and personal injury collisions every year on Britain’s roads between goods vehicles common in construction, and pedestrians, pedal cyclists and motorcyclists.
